For all those that are aware of BC, not many are aware of metastatic BC. I know that until I actually had Breast Cancer, I didn't really pay much attention to it. I'm sorry for that. It isn't over, until it is over, and even then, it might not be.
The first picture is June 2015 when I had my port inserted. It was removed in Dec 2015 with my mastectomy.
This picture is from Friday (Oct 6) when a new port went in because it is still not over. I am setting up for another chemo round, this time 6 months, then we will see. I suspect, this port will be with me for life. Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14293332995122886819noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6332638979495180851.post-68045887702843126252016-10-10T20:28:00.002-07:002016-10-10T20:28:48.057-07:00Breast Cancer Awareness Month - Day 7-10Sorry, I really did mean to post daily, but hey, day 7 included out patient surgery, then there was post surgery recover, a long weekend and life with twins all mixed in.

It's not over but the longest step is over. I had my last chemo injection. I have to get through the 3 weeks of side-effects but the end is near.
In four weeks, just 8 days before the guy in the big red suit comes, I go in for a double mastectomy. While all surgery is scary, I'm looking forward to this one.
